Practice Video Editing

Last night, was a lazy night if that’s possible to call. I had plans to stay in watch some Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, it was supposed to be dinner and some TV series. As soon as I finished dinner, I sat down to turn on my TV. Little did I know that I was going to be in for a night of extra work. I turned on the Sopranos re-watching it because why not Mr Tony Soprano is my hero. As soon as it started, I looked over at my lonely Mac and started thinking, Do I have any photos that I need to edit? hmm.. yes, but what actually have is a ton of B-Roll of my Lexus IS300 that I have not used. Getting up, with a smirk on my face, I decide to turn this on and see what comes from it, this way if I can’t do much I’ll just delete it, no worries right? So, after a whole evening of working on this video I finally realized that I have no music!! OMG! well, as you might know, we all edit to the music not to the video. Let’s pick a song, something either very mellow or something hard hitting like in ya face rock. I think it coming down to something mellow, something very low key. So I sit down and edit this. I try to put all together. Looking at the time, its already 11pm. I been here for a very long time, longer than expected. I’m pretty tired, should be asleep already. It’s already way past my bedtime, I need to hurry up. Editing, cutting, pasting, relocating, AAHHHH!! its taking forever. If I do not finish this now, I’ll never finish. This is just a personal thing I have to take care of, not something that I have to do. Almost there, I preview it. Seems ok, A Small Trailer, something that I can use as a highlight reel not a full video. Let’s see if we can start doing a car channel. I might use this.. Without further ado the premiere of my video. It’s a good start, I can do better, with more motivation and time. I know, its only uphill from here.
