New Year’s Resolution

I’ve thought about it, time and time again. Looking to be more active on Social Media, posting, pictures, updates… I try to be consistent but I end up being too busy. Either life gets in the way or my job takes over my life. Looking at things realistically, it is very difficult to make the time to start a new hobby or start taking a current one seriously. This year, starting as of now, I am making the effort to be able to spend more quality time with my hobbies. Looking into getting my mind off work and life issues with Photography, Blogging, Social Media, and not dipping into video I might start a Vlog as well along with a Podcast (More Info coming soon).

Now, when I say I want to be more active on Social Media, this doesn’t mean that I want to chat with my friends more, post cute pictures of my life, or what I’m eating, or the dog doing cute little back flips. What I’m talking about is that I want to be more active in the form that I post quality content, not just for me but my followers. I usually try to make a separate account on SnapChat, Instagram or Facebook and all others so that I divide the followers between Family/Friends and all other following me for my product, opinions, and content. I’m talking about being able to provide a service to my followers where they can take what I had to say and apply it to their life, or give them that final push towards taking the next step. Whatever it might be. Either, making a small purchase of a camera or visiting the coffee shop in their city.. whatever as long as I can influence and give my opinion and possibly prevent my followers from having a negative experience because of information they got through me.

My New Year’s Resolution this year is to provide at least 1 Quality update on each of my accounts every week. For the next 52 Weeks. My main focus of these would have to be my YouTube Channel that I am revamping as a Story Telling Platform, This Blog Website and my Photography/InstaGram Disney Hobby. My Snapchat would be more towards casual Vlog Style and see where that goes in the future. Facebook is more of a Advertising but I will focus more on that as well and see if I can promote more traffic to come towards these other platforms. I think the main focus here is to put the effort to stay consistent with social media and posting on a regular basis. I will try my best from this day forward to make this my main focus of all my free time. It feels like this, on the side is more work than my daily job.
